Montreal, November 4th, 2020 — The Quebec Cancer Foundation and the Quebec Clinical Research Organization in Cancer (Q-CROC) have entered into a partnership to optimize the support offered to people with cancer and their loved ones.
This collaboration will allow Q-CROC to redirect people with cancer to the Quebec Cancer Foundation’s Info-Cancer Line to meet their support needs related to cancer or clinical trials. In turn, experienced oncology nurses from the Quebec Cancer Foundation will receive complementary training in clinical research, provided by Q-CROC. They will thus be able to help interested patients better understand clinical trials and evaluate whether participating in a research protocol could be a possible option for them.
